I am incredibly blessed. This morning was baby dedication at church. A few days ago I got online to register us to dedicate Sam. We had to include a scripture we were praying over him (easy) and the blessing we wanted the pastor to share during the service (not so easy). I pray for Sam everyday, but when I saw we were supposed to write the blessing I freaked out. It is so silly, but I was so nervous about what to put, I googled blessings for baby dedications/baptisms, but didn't come up with a real concrete example. However, I did come across this article: Blessing Your Child
It gave me some great inspiration for our blessing to Sam, and lots of good information for speaking blessings over your children and giving them words of affirmation. I still can't believe God has entrusted me to raise his precious son, I am praying everyday for his wisdom and guidance. I am so grateful to have some really awesome families in our lives, who are really awesome parents that we can get advice and learn from.
Both of our families came into town for the service, and two of my great teacher friends. It meant so much to me for everyone to be there. Afterwards, we went to Fudruckers for some great hamburgers and football. Go Texans! I love when we have both of our families together, it makes me really happy. Anyway, one more week of school left before vacation!! So looking forward to spending two whole weeks with my little man. Praying this week goes by fast, and my little rockstars are not too crazy! Going to try and get in the holiday spirit and have some fun with them this week. Spent all day making their Christmas gifts, and I am pretty excited about them!
You're a rockstar mug, with poem and "puppy chow," hot chocolate mix, and a candy cane.

This may look like puppy chow
but it is really made for you.
Have a handful and you just...
might be wagging your tail too!
(not original, I googled it)
